The Industry-Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), organized an Expert Lecture on 17th October 2025 as part of the IIPC activities.
Dr. T. Ram Babu, Technology Head, L&T Technology Services, Hyderabad, delivered an insightful talk on the topic “Technical Issues in the Design of Electric Vehicles.”
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members across the Institute.
In his address, Dr. Ram Babu discussed various aspects of electric vehicle technology, including carbon emission and reduction potential, battery management systems, grid capacity challenges, and real-time industry case studies. He also highlighted the impact of EVs on electricity demand and the emerging challenges in the electric mobility sector.
Dr. G. Chandra Mohan Reddy, Principal, MGIT, encouraged students to explore the state-of-the-art advancements in the electrical domain and contribute towards sustainable innovations.
Dr. P. Ram Kishore Kumar Reddy, HoD, EEE, emphasized the importance of understanding electric vehicle technologies in the current industrial context.
Dr. P. Chandra Sekhar, Convenor, IIPC, concluded the session with a vote of thanks, appreciating the expert’s valuable insights and the active participation of the attendees.
